Nicholas Roy is back in the fire

‘Into The Fire’ is Nicholas Roy’s first single from a new batch of songs, due for release this November. The song was born in a Melbourne Thai restaurant with producer co-writer Jaime Jimenez. Tales of big cities and crazy evenings from Nicholas’ recent extended stay in New York and Jaime’s tour of Asia quickly became a song in Nicholas’ home studio.
 
The song has Nicholas’ distinct vocal sound and production, but also something new. Something that perhaps comes from taking a deep breath, having a break and rediscovering the fun in simply making music.
 
A wholly independent release, ‘Into The Fire’ is out on August 31 and Nicholas Roy will be taking to the road later in 2014.
